Beach Resort lies at the southeastern tip of Phuket, Thailand’s largest island. Sitting on a thin peninsula bordered on both sides by the aquamarine waters of the Andaman Sea, the hotel nestles in a cove overlooking the broad palm-lined arc of Makham Bay. The beach is literally on the doorstep – the hotel’s private stretch of fine white sand is great for relaxing and ideal for watersports.

Phuket Aquarium, a short walk from Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort, is home to blacktip reef sharks, tiger-striped catfish, moray eels and other inhabitants of Phuket’s tropical waters.

Perched atop Mount Nagakerd, west of Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort, the Phuket Big Buddha is clad in white Burmese jade marble and stands 45m high. The viewing platform affords 360-degree views of southern Phuket, including Kata’s crescent bay and the islands of Chalong Bay. Nearby Phromthep Cape, Phuket’s southernmost point, is a beloved vantage point for the island’s spectacular sunsets. Its lighthouse offers sweeping views of the islands dotting the Andaman Sea.

Chalong, to the west of Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort, is a busy yachting harbour with a jetty that stretches over 700m into the bay. The Chalong Bay Distillery uses traditional French methods of distillation and local sustainably grown sugarcane to produce their fine rum. Patrons can enjoy a complimentary Chalong Bay Mojito as part of the distillery tour.
